Auto Donation Program
The Institute of Humanities Car Donation program will accept your used car donations. With your hassle free donation,
you'll receive a tax deductible receipt that may be worth more
than selling or trading your car.
The car donations process is simple and convenient.
We have experienced, trained operators ready and willing to help and guide you through the car donation
process.
How
it works
1- To donate a car, simply fill out the form below or do it over the phone at: 718-338-5130.
Operators are standing by Sunday through Friday.
2- We will contact you and set up a pick up time at your convenience. The average pickup time for your car is usually between 24-48 hours. If
necessary, same day pick up is available. There
is absolutely no charge when you donate a car! You will be given a temporary receipt at time of pick up.
3- We will mail you an official tax deductible reciept that you will give to your tax professional
for a tax deduction. (IRS registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3))

How it work
We send a tow truck to your house to pick up the car
and he gives you a receipt for the pickup. Then we mail in another receipt for the value of the car, whether
it is $500
dollars or more. You should then give this receipt to your tax adviser for a tax
deduction. Your generous donation to our
charity is fully recognized by the IRS and you will be credited immediately.
